Nowadays I pretty much don't even bother opening Delicious Library 3, unless it's to catalogue a new purchase-but even then I forget to do so entirely, as much as I used to when I used Delicious Library 2 to also track my public library loans. I honestly used this feature regularly to help keep track of my public library loans, attributing the ownership of an item in Delicious Library to said public library, and then essentially "loaning" it to myself in Delicious Library, so I could then easily look at the Caendar application on my Mac or iPhone, and see when my public library items were due. I know this gets brought up from time to time, but I'm in the camp that really misses the feature that automatically created events in the macOS Caledar application, whenever an item was lent to someone in Delicious Library 2. Really missing the Calendar app integration features of Delicious Library 2 But I have found that for me, the simplest is to export the file in the csv format and then import into your Good Reads account (if you have one) then you have the best of both worlds. I see requests to be able to view your collection in the cloud you can publish your collection to an ftp or http site. Worth the price if you have alot of books. I would like to be able to specify a back up option as well as veiw shelves for a particular genre or auther but am otherwised pleased. In very few instances where neither finds the title, I have used the Good Reads iPhone app to scan a cover - which by the way is excellent - and then from the book details I can get the ISBN and copy and paste into app scanner and add the book. On those occasions when it doesn't, keying in the ISBN works. I have catalogued nearly 400 books in the past couple of weeks and with few exceptions, the iPhone barcode scanner works well. Overall I am quite happy with the application. “The best of the home inventory managers I tested.” -Farhad Manjoo, New York Times “You've never had so much fun with 's just so cool!
